About the Artist

Ken lives and works on Anglesey. He studied art at foundation level at Kelsterton College, and fine art at degree level at Falmouth School of Art. He later undertook a post graduate certificate in education at Didsbury College. He has combined a career in teaching art with developing his own work.

His work has been selected for exhibition at the Royal Academy and Mall Galleries in London, and has held a solo exhibition at Smith’s gallery Covent Garden. Most recently he took part in a group exhibition of contemporary portraiture at the Lloyd Gill Gallery (www.thelloydgillgallery.com). He has sold his work widely through exhibitions, local galleries, and the internet via his web site www.angleseyartprints.co.uk.

His current work has distinctive styles. The land and seascape paintings are a representation of Anglesey’s unique coastal scenery and atmosphere, and rely on observation of pattern and structure.
